Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant with an extensive career in auditing, accounting and taxation for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Taxation Studies from the University of Newcastle. Peter also holds a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. Peter is a registered company auditor and a registered SMSF auditor.
Peter has a very impressive career in the sport of Hockey and has played the most first grade matches in Newcastle – 625.
He has played at representative level in hockey including:
- Newcastle (juniors, U21, seniors and masters);
- NSW (U21, seniors, masters);
- Combined Australian Universities; represented Australia Masters;
- Playing coach of Australian 60s team.
He has been recognised in the sport with Life Membership of Newcastle Men’s Hockey Association and is the current Treasurer; Secretary Treasurer of Newcastle Men’s Masters Hockey, currently National Coordinator of Australian Men’s Masters and Chairman of Hockey Australia’s Masters Council; President of Crusaders Hockey Club, Newcastle.
